Ingredients:

  • 1 lb City Seafood scallops, cleaned and patted dry

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: red pepper flakes for a kick 

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, get it nice and hot.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, butter, garlic, lemon zest and juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  3. Brush scallops on both sides with the marinade. Let them sit for 5–10 minutes.

  4. Grill scallops for 2–3 minutes per side, until they’re opaque and have a nice sear. Don’t overcook—they should still be tender!

  5. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

Pro Tip:

Use a skewer or grill basket to keep smaller scallops from slipping through the grates!
